Large Language Models (LLMs) are the first ever natural language interface between us and our digital tools. Three years of working with hundreds of people and companies show: their power lies not in autonomy but as an interface to our own intelligence—through a new form of communication I call human-AI co-thinking. Like writing, printing, and the internet, human-AI dialogue opens new worlds: efficiency, creativity, lightness. Switzerland can become the first nation to master this new universal language.

Conférencier(e)

Dr. Charles-Edouard Bardyn is a quantum physicist turned AI specialist who leads AI Swiss at the scientific and strategic level, while holding key positions at the intersection of healthcare and technology. As Chief AI Officer at domo.health and principal investigator at CHUV, one of Switzerland's premier university hospitals, he bridges cutting-edge research with real-world applications.

With a doctorate from ETH Zurich and research experience at Caltech, Charles-Edouard has developed an interdisciplinary approach to science and technology. His breakthrough insight—that artificial intelligence works best as an interface to our own augmented intelligence—has shaped what he calls "human-AI co-thinking," guiding AI Swiss's mission to make AI accessible to everyone, regardless of technical background.

Cutting through AI sensationalism, Charles-Edouard champions practical, evidence-based approaches that prioritize human skill-building over technological infrastructure. He currently leads AI Swiss's grassroots efforts to build Switzerland's AI capabilities from the ground up: training co-thinking facilitators in schools, participating in national AI strategy discussions, and co-developing a human-AI platform for education.
